Today Is The Day Of Salvation!

Are you saved? What is salvation? Do you know where you would go if you were to die today? The Bible says you can know.

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. God Came down from his throne in Heaven and manifested Himself in the flesh as a man. He lived a perfect, sinless life. He chose to take upon himself all the sins of mankind past, present, and future so that man would have a chance at eternal salvation.

Why doesn’t mankind have eternal salvation already? This is because of sin. Sin is inequity from God. Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, which caused them and all their descendants to be cursed through the bloodline of Adam. This means everyone born ever has the cursed sinful blood of Adam.

Jesus was born of a virgin woman, so he could be born without Adams’s sinful blood. Thus he was sinless. In the Old Testament, the nation of Israel had to sacrifice a lamb in the morning and the evening (Exodus 29:38-42). The sacrifice had to be a lamb without a spot or blemish. Jesus was the sacrificial lamb without spot or blemish.

He died on the cross bearing the entire sin of the world. He shed his blood, died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He paid the payment for sin for us. He paid the price, so you don’t have to. All that is needed is you accept that free gift of salvation. Trust in only what Jesus did on the cross for you to save you from an eternal Hell. This is a gift. Nothing you can do can save yourself.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:36

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not have life; but the wrath of God abideth in him.

Romans 3:23

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Romans 3:25-27

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: The he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith

Romans 5:8-9

8 But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 10:13

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1Corintians 15:1-4

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believe in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures: 4 And the he was buried, and rose again the third day, according to the scriptures.
